I miss life before COVID-19, especially attending live events. A favorite of mine was our pro-am Tekken 7 tournament at Lansing Center called PROVEN: The Fight Night Experience. It was recognized as an official stop on the Tekken World Tour which made it incredibly prestigious. Elite players from around the Midwest region and beyond came to prove they were unquestionably the best.
It took place during the Get Geek’d Expo which featured the cast of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie as special guests. Also on hand was actress Renae Jacobs who was the voice of April O’Neil on the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon. We had great prizes for the PROVEN winners including cash, a swag bag from Moneyball Sportswear, and a beautiful trophy. Renae surprised and delighted everyone by generously adding autographed pictures to the stash. |THIS.
