DJ BWeezy came to All of the Above HipHop Academy with aspirations of one day being a professional DJ.
In conversation we realized that either this kid has been here before or he had some seriously informed HipHop heads in his corner putting him up on all the classics – known and unknown.
His music collection is full of songs that predate his 14 years on this planet, and it is an absolute joy watching him get down every Saturday night at The Blue Owl in REO Town for “Beats and Brewers”.
[BWeezy] has developed in skill and technique as well as demonstrated remarkable levels of confidence in making his passion public on a weekly basis. We are so proud of this young man!

All of the Above HipHop Academy is a 501(c)3 organization of artists and educators using the elements of Hip-Hop culture to mentor youth, support their artistic expression, build their confidence, and nurture their development into community leaders. Our program teaches writing, breaking, music production, and street art, meeting the needs of the youth across Lansing, MI
