We first saw Gabe Benavides AKA Bena G hop on stage at Mikeyy Austin’s 2019 Soul Lounge event. Apparently, Mikeyy ran into Gabe while promoting the event.
Upon handing him a flyer, Bena G showed Mikeyy one of his songs. And without missing a beat was invited out to freestyle live with Mikeyy and his band during [their] set.
Trust me when I say he killed it!
Gabe has been recording himself in his own home studio for over a year now.
“I wanted to join AOTA to work with others and master my
craft”, said the freshman in high school.
It’s only our first term with B.A.R.S (Beats and Rhymes Sessions) at All of the Above Hip Hop Academy and it’s clear that his commitment to mastery is why his work ethic and commitment to study is dialed in the way it is. [He’s] focused.
