On January 17, 2020, I watched our Fresh Class ‘19 All of the Above HipHop Academy cohorts solidify themselves publicly as “221”, a collective of young artists who truly have something special.

We are proud of these young men and look forward to their growth both collectively and as individuals.

They brought a diverse and dynamic experience to a stage, at Mac’s Bar, that has served as a launchpad to so many here in the Capital City – Lansing, MI.

As a spectator, I reminisced on all the magic that has happened on that stage over the years. I am proud to know the legacy lives on in the next generation of AOTA creatives.

Welcome 221 to the Capital City Hip Hop scene, y’all!

They have a bright future ahead of them. |THIS
