Look closely at the photo above. That’s me in the red hat. An hour or so before this photo was taken, I’d arrived at Rotary Park in Lansing, MI for Afterglow Market with just my table and a backpack filled with promotional items. KC from Hood Illustrated Magazine arrived shortly after me with a backdrop and plenty of magazines and merch to fill our space.
Once we were all set up, I just took a moment to look around. Custom jeweler Dusty Rose Designs was to our left, artist Christina Castillo was on our right, and on her right people were lining up for Tantay Peruvian Cuisine, Mr. Leslie’s Cheesecakes, and Smoothie Queen. Straight ahead I could see MI Drinks Co. and baker Sweet Encounter across from us. From our point of view I could see everything and everyone, and what I saw told me Afterglow Market was going to be awesome. |THIS.
