Originally from Grand Rapids, MI, now residing in Atlanta, GA, Sixman has been on hot streak for several consecutive years now. The last 12 months have been memorable and momentous.
The past year saw Sixman headline his national “The Fix Tour” off the success of his album The Fix, set out across the country again with iconic MC and visual artist El De Sensei on “The Reset Tour”, his cinematic video for “Capitalistic” was an official selection of Grand Rapids Film Festival, and got interviewed live in front of an esteemed audience by award-winning media icon Maranda at Wedgwood Christian Services’ 62d Annual Anniversary Dinner Celebration at the Amway Hangar.
Sixman returned to Grand Rapids for the WYCE Jammie Awards XXIII where he was nominated for HIP Hop Album of the Year, Song of the Year for his single “Common Linage” (featuring YoAphro) from his current set The LUX (Luxurious Urban Xperieince), and Artist of the Year. He closed the awards with an unforgettable performance with DJ Seven Eights and fellow MC Manchild.
