Hip-hop artist Kevin Gates played Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, TN on November 3, 2019, and it was…everything! I’m still on Cloud 9!
The atmosphere was great. I didn’t realize Kevin has such a wide variety of fans; from boys to girls, Blacks, Whites, and Asians. I even saw an Indian fan in there! It blew my mind! Kevin’s known for being an individual and for loving individuals for who they are regardless of their race, color, or ethnicity.
Before Kevin came out the lights dropped. Then a backdrop played video of who he was prior to his new music from album ‘I’m Him’.
As most know he went through a controversial incident. Kevin kicked a girl at a concert, was found guilty of battery, and served time in prison.
This current album is his first since he was released from prison. Everyone there was happy to see him! The crowd was screaming, there was sirens, and everyone was just so excited.
Kevin came out performing the song “Great Man” as a tribute and testament to who he is now, and how he’s grown and changed as a person.
