The Royal Rumble match is a variation of the traditional Battle Royal match with a total of 30 competitors. Two WWE Superstars start in the ring, every 90 seconds thereafter another Superstar enters. A Superstar is eliminated when they’re thrown over the top rope and both feet touch the floor.
The last remaining Superstar is guaranteed a championship opportunity at WrestleMania versus the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion, WWE Universal Champion, or NXT Champion.
The 34th annual Royal Rumble happens live from the WWE ThunderDome in St. Petersburg, Florida on January 31, 2021.
I really think R-Truth should be its winner.
It’s time for WWE to take Truth seriously and stop using him as comic relief.
The hip-hop artist and wrestler born Ron Killings is a former 2-time NWA World’s Heavyweight Champion. This is never mentioned during RAW or Friday Night Smackdown, further discrediting his abilities and in-ring pedigree.
I admit he’s funny. Heck, he’s hilarious! A 46-time WWE 24/7 Champion, Truth is arguably the most entertaining person in the promotion. A 2-time United States Champion, he’s universally loved across America and beyond, and he’s in the best shape of his career.
Incredibly agile and awe-inspiring in his execution of wrestling maneuvers, Truth consistently connects with the fans through his technique and personality.
He would likely receive a tremendous ovation if he won the Royal Rumble match.
At Wrestlemania that support, albeit virtually and via social media, would continue.
In all honesty, Truth vs Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship, or vs Drew McIntyre for the WWE World Heavyweight Champion or Fin Balor for the NXT Championship would be an exciting, emotional clash for the ages.
Regardless of potential match quality, it’s time for R-Truth to win the big one in WWE. |THIS.
