During our conversation I asked Charlie THIS good question: Why is attending college and getting a degree important?
She answered, “That’s a good question.
When I write for myself, I like to totally separate myself from how I am writing for someone else.
I like to be honest with my feelings. I like situational songs. So, I totally take my ego out of it.
I want the lyrics stripped down so you can feel exactly what I was feeling at that particular time about a particular scenario.
It’s not about me, me, me, and self-glorification, it’s really about the situations through my eyes.
