Throughout Season 2 of Power Book II: Ghost we see Cooper Saxe struggling to figure out what kind of man he wants to be. He gets hired and his career saved by Davis McClain, and we see Saxe hesitant to adopt Davis’ ways of doing business.
And even though his client Tariq was on trial, the prosecutor in him still saw Tariq as an enemy in some regards because of his infatuation with James St. Patrick and the St. Patrick Family as a whole.
We also see his relationship with Jenny go up and down and it didn’t help that they were on the opposing sides of the law when Tariq was on trial. We also saw Saxe trying to take his relationship with Jenny from friends with benefits to a real relationship, and Jenny wasn’t having it. She made it pretty clear that they are just a fling. She doesn’t think Highly of Saxe and she definitely made it known.
When it comes to Jenny, Saxe has kind of a Stockholm syndrome. Back in Season 1 when Jenny and Saxe were getting down in the bedroom, he asked her if this is a “pity fuck”, and she said, “Is there any other kind?” Jenny always says those kinds of things To Saxe.
Toward the end of the season, we see that Saxe has decided on the person that he wants to be. A huge part of that is because of Jenny and another part is that he wants to see justice for Lauren and Carrie Milgram.
At the end of Season 2 we see Saxe committing to be Jenny’s snitch and using his position with Davis and being Tariq’s Lawyer to inform and get evidence against them.
Of course we all know what happens to snitches in the Power universe. |THIS ENT
