It is a blessing when remarkable persons that we admire make time to speak with us. Those shared interviews are reflections of us both, that’s why it’s imperative that what we ask matters.

Two of those persons we were blessed to speak with were Hip Hop artists El Da Sensei and Sixman!

We spoke with them both ahead of their “The Reset Tour” stop at The Pyramid Scheme in Grand Rapids, MI.

During our conversation we asked them this GOOD QUESTION: Consider for a moment all the ups and downs of our society currently. With that in mind, why is a live hip hop show like The Reset such a valuable stabilizer?

They answered, “Right now, we all need a release. A damn break. And what better way to do it than with ill lyrics and beats to get the aggression out. Give those people what they remember in a live set. A reminder of what used to be even if we’re making the long hard climb back up.” – El Da Sensei

“The Reset is a valuable stabilizer in this time because it allows a chance for others. Not only do I or EL or other legendary artists that will be involved have the chance to uplift through the power of our type of Hip Hop, but it gives a chance to other artists like who seen in Atlanta, like in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and now in Grand Rapids as well.

It gives power to the independent artists around the world as we come through. To me that’s the most important.” – Sixman |THIS ENT
