Welcome to another episode of FGC Philosophy!

Trigger Warning: If you are not able to discuss or hear opinions that oppose your own, please don’t proceed.

In this podcast, we’ll be talking about political and racial issues from our perspectives. This episode, like all of my others, is intended to spark conversation and to get people to think outside their own paradigm.

Some of these topics may be sensitive to you or people you know. Nothing we say is intended for malice or harm. This episode was recorded the night of the election. The goal was to try to explain my frustrations about our situation in a way that could be a learning opportunity. After several attempts to record it solo, I realized this was easier said than done.

After a few minutes, I’d work myself into a rage – slammed my fist on my desk. I decided to call up an old friend who I’ll refer to as Sumguy.

Sumguy has been my friend since college in Alabama. Over the years he’s been like a brother to me, someone I can talk to openly and honestly, and always has the outcome be productive.

Our backgrounds are VERY different. Sumguy is a White man that grew up in an area of the south that wasn’t as diverse. Despite his situation, he’s been one of the most supportive members of my life. |THIS.
