Welcome to Vol. 1 of THIS special edition of GOOD QUESTION, brought to you exclusively by THISENT.com! I’m your host, “Word Heavyweight Champion” Mr. Joe Walker.

Throughout my illustrious career as an entertainment writer and journalist, I’ve been blessed with opportunities to speak with many notable and famous persons. One of those is award-winning R&B singer KEM!

During our conversation I asked KEM THIS good question: What do we lose when prominent entertainers and artists pass away?

He answered, “You lose the person.

There’s always the grieving of the artist, but I think the music is actually enhanced when someone great passes away. It puts their music in a different perspective. It breathes life into their body of work.

I think it draws us closer to them when they pass – like when Michael [Jackson] passed and when Whitney [Houston] passed. When we lose them there’s that sadness, but there’s also a deeper appreciation of what they brought to the table.

I don’t think it takes away. I think it adds to what their music meant.” |THIS.
