Welcome to THIS edition of GOOD QUESTION, brought to you exclusively by THISent.com! I’m your host, “Word Heavyweight Champion” Mr. Joe Walker.
Throughout my illustrious career as an entertainment writer and journalist, I’ve been blessed with opportunities to speak with many notable and famous persons. Normally, this would be where I’d introduce a celebrity to answer one of my questions. This time I’m going to answer one being asked by several others.
What WrestleMania 36 match are you most looking forward to?
My answer: Rhea Ripley vs Charlotte Flair.
I was disappointed with the build to WrestleMania 36 on April 5, 2020. I wasn’t even impressed with Drew McIntyre’s and Charlotte Flair’s Royal Rumble victories, guaranteeing them both championship opportunities at WWE’s biggest annual show.
But when NXT Champion Ripley confronted Charlotte on USA Network staple Monday Night RAW, my interest peaked instantly.
Charlotte’s held the RAW Women’s Championship 4 times, the Smackdown Women’s Championship 5 times, and has faced both their current title holders – Becky Lynch and Bayley respectively – on multiple occasions. And though Charlotte’s also a former NXT Women’s Champion, Ripley presents a fresh matchup.
The two competitors are close in height, weight, and athleticism. They’re also extremely aggressive, prone to hard-hitting matches that leave viewers on the edge of their seats.
I want to be one of those viewers on the edge their seat.
Rhea Ripley vs Charlotte Flair is not just the match I’m most looking forward to. It’s the reason I’ll be watching WrestleMania 36. | THIS.
