Dear Marvel Studios and Marvel Cinematic Universe fans,
We are pleased to recommend actress Olivia Munn to portray the character Psylocke in the MCU.
As Marvel begins its fourth cinematic phase, speculation about how the X-Men will debut continues to be a popular topic of discussion. Whenever they eventually arrive, we’d like to see Betsy Braddock aka Psylocke among the selected team members.
As you’re aware, Munn – the former ‘Attack of the Show’ co-host and ‘The Daily Show’ correspondent – already portrayed Psylocke in 2016 film ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’. But if we’re honest she was the only stand-out in a movie that left much to be desired.
The underwhelming flick did not utilize Munn’s incredibly entertaining personality as the telekinetic ninja, which is sure to be best showcased by MSU film makers. What ‘Apocalypse’ did do was give us visual confirmation that Munn is the perfect choice.
For all of these reasons, we believe Olivia Munn should portray Psylocke in the MCU.
