At the end of Season 2, we see Monet getting out of the hands of Mecca and closing off her arc with Dante Spears. She was able, at least to her knowledge, keep her family safe.
This is not the whole story, of course, as we find out that Lorenzo killed Zeke thinking that he was Mecca.
And at the end of the Season 2 finale, we see that Monet get a call from Det. Kevin Whitman. He tells her that Zeke is dead.
