I used to work at Red Lobster – several locations – and at one of them DMX used to come in a lot.
My managers would have him and his guests sit away from everyone else so no one would bother him.
In fact, no one except DMX’s server was even allowed to talk to him; those were Red Lobster’s rules, not his.
Also, a Red Lobster rule was that I wasn’t allowed to be his server EVER because I rap. They were scared that I would try to pass a demo off to him or something.
So that’s my DMX story. I got to see him quite a bit but never actually got to meet him.
