Jeannie Ortega has learned a few things from her music predecessors. Here she adopts pseudo Hip Hop, pseudo Pop styles made popular by Ashanti and Jennifer Lopez.

On her debut album Jeannie offers listeners nothing new.

The tough good-girl image is used to death, and Jennie’s so-so singing talent doesn’t carry this LP. The production, which is mostly Hip Hop tracks, often overshadows Jeannie’s weak writing and soft vocals.

Lackluster songs “Bling,” “Let It Go”, and “Green I’Z” are a few of the many that accentuate Jeannie’s flaws. | By Mr. Joe Walker
