“Festival of Fights” is an action packed, entertaining event presented by independent wrestling promotion LEGACY. Emanating from The Fledge in Lansing, MI on Friday December 13, 2019, THIS wanted insight on what to expect from the in-ring clashes on Friday the 13th. To get the info we wanted, we so boldly issued a questionnaire to the night’s talent. Veteran Referee Esequiel of Detroit responded.
THIS: What can the audience expect to see from you at “Festival of Fights”?
Referee Esequiel: Calling fights fair and down the middle.
THIS: When did the light come on that you wanted to be a professional wrestler?
Referee Esequiel: Always, since a kid; but never knew about the schools until just recently. So, I jumped in for my dream.
THIS: What are you fighting to achieve inside and outside the ring?
Referee Esequiel: Inside the ring, to learn and grow from every match I’m in. Outside, to be a great representation of the company I’m representing.
THIS: Tell us about the best gift, or reward, you’ve received so far in your wrestling career?
Referee Esequiel: When I refereed my first world title match at PWAS. And I also took my first ref bump in the same match.
THIS: What do you want your LEGACY to be?
Referee Esequiel: A great independent wrestling company that gives fans an opportunity to see great wrestling without spending an arm and leg. |THIS
