I’m seeing why The Falcon and the Winter Soldier finale got low ratings. I don’t agree with the low ratings, but I understand why.
This always happens when a little truth seeps out.
The biggest criticism is that the characters didn’t get enough time to develop.
I have 2 issues with that:
1: The most obvious… This is Marvel. This is an intro to a timeline that will develop over presumably the next decade.
2: There was plenty of character development. Just not the character you care about.
This whole show was Falcon’s transition, and, to a lesser extent, Winter Soldier’s atonement.
Thinking development ended abruptly for others is to ignore the transition that you actually saw. And that’s not on the writers. That’s on you!
For the record, I thought it was a great “end”. |THIS.
