The story of love lost and found is at the heart of ‘The Photograph’ and is a movie picture worth taking.

The mother of Christina Eames dies and leaves her with loss, regret and unanswered questions along with a recently uncovered photograph. Michael Block, a young journalist looking for his next story, interviews a fisherman in Louisiana and learns about a special photograph telling a story of a love long lost.

Christina and Michael are then brought together by these series of events and a romance is ignited. Can their beginning relationship survive and break the pattern of lost love in both their lives due to their individual issues?

‘The Photograph’ is a visually engaging love story told in [both] past and present tense. It features the love life of Christina’s mother in the past and its striking similarities to her present life. She and her mother were estranged, for the most part. The interaction between stars Issa Rae and Lakeith Stanfield is smoldering and keeps you engaged and rooting for their love to blossom.

Overall, ‘The Photograph’ is a slow burning yet good romance story.
