Negativity and selfishness gets great publicity in our social networking, indirect-contact society. You’d be led to believe the world’s running low on good people and that no one cares for or respects one another anymore. Their only concerns are themselves; and when they’re in need, no one is willing to lend them a hand without reward.

This is not the case. Kind, caring, selflessly-generous people still exist. Keith Robinson is a shining example.

Both a versatile actor and soulful vocalist, Robinson has done exceptionally well in dual roles. A native of Kentucky that found his acting groove in Los Angeles, his first role was donning the tights of the iconic Green Power Ranger on Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue. From there he moved on to high profile roles in television series ER and Saints & Sinners, and films Dreamgirls, Dear John, This Christmas, Get On Up, All Eyez On Me, and Sister Swap: A Hometown Holiday.

An Oscar nominated singer with incredible range, Robinson captivates listeners on such songs as “Love Somebody”, “Beautiful Lady”, “Love Language”, “Kama Sutra”, and “Nothing Like Christmas Day”.

While good at what he does, he’s also a good person and one who believes in helping others.

I asked Keith Robinson to tell me about a time when he did something nice for someone that he didn’t know. Here’s what he shared.

“I’m always trying to speak to kids and reach out to kids. I like to send them paraphernalia from Power Rangers.

There was a guy who reached out to me via Twitter and asked for a picture for his son in Texas. So, I sent that to him!

I’m always doing charities too. We gave away a ton of tennis shoes to a charity. We did something for Covenant House in DC, it’s a wraparound facility for homeless teens. We raised a lot of money for them.”  |THIS.
