Negativity and selfishness gets great publicity in our social networking, indirect-contact society. You’d be led to believe the world’s running low on good people and that no one cares for or respects one another anymore. Their only concerns are themselves; and when they’re in need, no one is willing to lend them a hand without reward.

This is not the case. Kind, caring, selflessly-generous people still exist. Dario is a shining example.

The international Pop star from Tucson, AZ makes music that’s fun and inspirational, the reason the stylish singer/songwriter is loved around the world.

A staple on Billboard’s charts, Dario’s jams like “Save You”, “Try It”, and “Point of No Return” are sure to make you dance while tender gems like “Shoulda Stayed” reverberate inside the heart. His lyrics are often moving no matter the tempo and his good nature doesn’t stop when the music does. While good at what he does, he’s also a good person and one who believes in helping others.

I asked Dario to tell me about a time when he did something nice for someone he didn’t know. Here’s what he shared.

“Whenever you see any injustice, when something’s not going right or going good, as a human being you should want to do something.

I remember this one time we saw this guy, and clearly he was homeless. I’ve noticed whenever people walk by homeless people they ignore them like that don’t exist. And I don’t like that! I feel like every human being is equal, every human being is a part of this life and they should be treated exactly the same.

A lot of people always judge. They’ll say something like, ‘I’m not going to give him any money because he’ll just use it to buy beer or wine or whatever.’ I said to myself, let me not judge. Let me walk up to this guy, shake his hand, ask him how he’s doing and if he’s hungry. And I did!

I gave the guy some money, and I got into my car because we were about to leave. The guy gets up, goes inside a restaurant, and actually pays for a meal.

At that moment, everyone who thought he’d use the money to buy alcohol realized you should never judge a book by its cover. Don’t think that’s all they’re going to do. It was a lesson for everybody. And for me it was great.

Give back as much as you can. The reality is if you hold on to it, you’re never going to get it in the end. Mom always said make sure you give back as much as possible because it always comes back to you. If you give nothing, then nothing’s going to come to you.” |THIS.
