Negativity and selfishness gets great publicity in our social networking, indirect-contact society. You’d be led to believe the world’s running low on good people and that no one cares for or respects one another anymore. Their only concerns are themselves; and when they’re in need, no one is willing to lend them a hand without reward.
This is not the case. Kind, caring, selflessly-generous people still exist. Casper is a shining example.
Music can surely brighten your day. Any fan of Casper knows this all too well. The award-winning Reggae, Pop, and R&B artist from Toronto, Canada has more than 20 albums on his internationally acclaimed resume. Expect good vibes when listening to any one of his groovy hits.
A producer and engineer also, Casper’s tracks have clarity just like the messages in his lyrics. While good at what he does, he’s also a good person and one who believes in helping others.
I asked Casper to tell me about a time when he did something nice for someone he didn’t know. Here’s what he shared.
“Well I always do nice things for people. It makes me feel great inside and keeps me smiling and shining.
But I remember one time when I helped two homeless kids off the streets; fed them, clothed them, and let them crash at my place for the night to keep warm.
I also inspired them to get jobs, and one of the kids even rented his own place. I remember him calling me up asking me to come over, but I never made it. I just like the fact that he listened to his heart and followed it. I never spoke to him after that, but I hope he is doing well.
I love sharing God with people because without him I would not be where I am today. He is amazing and he compelled me to do it. I wish people could open up their hearts more and see that love still exists in the world today.
One love!” |THIS.
