Negativity and selfishness gets great publicity in our social networking, indirect-contact society. You’d be led to believe the world’s running low on good people and that no one cares for or respects one another anymore. Their only concerns are themselves; and when they’re in need, no one is willing to lend them a hand without reward.

This is not the case. Kind, caring, selflessly-generous people still exist. MR. 1204 is a shining example.

A success story as a hip-hop artist and a top-draw event host, MR. 1204 brings life to any recording industry party, arena stages in front of thousands, or banging track. He is reaping the rewards of 4 consecutive hit singles – “Spendin All Night”, “Lost”, ‘Free The Goonz”, and “What To Tell You” – released independently through his imprint Phat Boi Records.

The CEO of West Michigan based 1204 Promotions also, he splits his busy schedule between marketing his brands, managing award-winning model Kendra Kouture, and planning marquee events. While good at what he does, he’s also a good person and one who believes in helping others.

I asked MR. 1204 to tell me about a time when he did something nice for someone that he didn’t know. Here’s what he shared.

“I try to do something every day for a person I may not know whether it’s opening a door or just giving someone some change at the store.

During the covid-19 I’m donating food, hot dinners to my community. I just want to make sure that I’m not always looking to get something from my people – whether it’s promoting music, parties, etc. Those people come out and support me with their hard-earned money. The least I can do is give back wherever I can, wherever I see there’s a need!

I do these types of things not only because I was raised that way, but because in this world, and it’s such a dog-eat-dog world, that I think people lose focus on what’s important. To me that’s just simply living!

I’m naturally high off of life. So, when I see someone in need it’s nothing to give a helping hand. Hey, I’ve been homeless and broke with no help, so I know what it’s like to just need some help without feeling judged.

And I’ve tried to make that a part of my everyday life.” |THIS.
