Negativity and selfishness gets great publicity in our social networking, indirect-contact society. You’d be led to believe the world’s running low on good people and that no one cares for or respects one another anymore. Their only concerns are themselves; and when they’re in need, no one is willing to lend them a hand without reward.

This is not the case. Kind, caring, selflessly-generous people still exist. Kalilah Wright is a shining example.

An empowering entrepreneur with incredible aptitude, Wright is the creator, owner and chief operator of the acclaimed Mess In a Bottle t-shit brand. Her line promotes expression by granting its wearers the ability to say whatever they want without actually speaking a word.

Born in Jamaica, raised in Brooklyn, NY, and now residing in Baltimore, MD, the renowned designer and trained architect launched her first business at 12-years-told. Today, Wright assists future entrepreneurs with figuring out their own “Mess”. She offers consultation and courses to take aspiring business owners from concept to launch.

While good at what she does, she’s also a good person and one who believes in helping others.

I asked Kalilah Wright to tell me about a time when she did something nice for someone she didn’t know. Here’s what she shared.

“I bought a new entrepreneur a label maker to assist with their shipping.

They posted something on social media expressing needing this particular item but were unable to get it.

When I was starting my business, someone bought me office supplies without me asking.

I’ve always stated if I could, I would pay it forward.” |THIS.
