Negativity and selfishness gets great publicity in our social networking, indirect-contact society. You’d be led to believe the world’s running low on good people and that no one cares for or respects one another anymore. Their only concerns are themselves; and when they’re in need, no one is willing to lend them a hand without reward.
This is not the case. Kind, caring, selflessly-generous people still exist. Frankie J is a shining example.
Possessing one of the great voices of a generation, Frankie J is a music icon that is beloved around the world. A multiplatinum selling singer and songwriter, he’s made his award-winning mark in Pop, R&B, and Latin music.
A former member of superstar group Kumbia Kings, Frankie’s storied solo career wrote its pages on hits “Obsession”, “Ya No Es Igual”, “That Girl”, “How Beautiful You Are”, “Sabor A Mi”, and “With You”.
While good at what he does, he’s also a good person and one who believes in helping others.
I asked Frankie J to tell me about a time when he did something nice for someone that he didn’t know. Here’s what he shared.
“This was in Los Angeles. There was a couple of my fans who got left out of my show there. They were some big fans of mine who didn’t have money for tickets.
For show there I usually get 10 tickets for family. Those are for when you have family who live in the area.
I gave tickets to those fans! And after the show I signed the tickets for them!
But I had to kick two of my family members out who didn’t get to see the show. But they know me anyway, so…” |THIS.
