The Miz cashed in his Money In The Bank Contract at WWE Elimination Chamber 2021 to defeat Drew McIntyre, becoming WWE Champion for the second time. Some wrestling fans cheered while others jeered and complained. But anything can happen with the title between now and WrestleMania on April 10th and 11th.

This has me asking THIS GOOD QUESTION:

Who should be WWE Champion at WrestleMania?

The Miz has been one WWE’s most consistent performers for nearly 12 years. He earned his WWE title run back 2010 and has improved significantly since.

I regularly wondered why he hadn’t won the title at least a second time. Now that he’s a 2-time WWE Champion, it would be cool to see him swagger into Mania again as the defending title holder.

However, it would be very cool to see Bobby Lashley, who issued a challenge to The Miz on the Monday Night RAW after Elimination Chamber ’21, defeat “The Awesome One” for the strap. Lashley has surely earned a chance to be the dominant defending champion in the Mania main event.

It wouldn’t upset me to see Drew McIntyre reclaim the gold before Mania, taking it into WWE’s biggest show of the year as a 3-time champion.

If not The Miz, Lashley, or Drew, only AJ Styles or Kofi Kingston would be sensible, worthy title holders going into WrestleMania.

Many would agree that AJ is arguably the best performer in all of WWE. Him walking into Mania as a 3-time WWE Champion would just feel right.

The same can be said about Kofi. After making history by claiming the WWE title at Mania in 2019, becoming the first African-born WWE Champion, Kofi never got a rematch after losing it to Brock Lesnar. Watching him walk in as champion would also feel right.
