Back in 2001, the great lyrical prophet by the name of Ludacris said, “I’ve got hoes, in different area codes.”
I submit to you today that not only do you gotta be a kingdom hoe, but you gotta know how to hoe in different area codes. You can’t just be 7-7-0 and 4-0-4. You gotta be worldwide! Act like y’all know. He that wins souls is wise.
Pastuh is mobile. Pastuh ain’t never scared to get in these streets. Sometimes you gotta post up in the bando. You gotta go to the trap house. You can’t send pigeons to relay a message. You can’t text folks all the time. You gotta meet people where they at. You gotta visit people!
Ladies, if you out here clappin them yams for that dolla dolla bill, y’all, and making that “thang” thang, God can still use you to do His work.
Just because you a lady of the night don’t mean you ain’t got no value. Whether you’s a new school hoe or you’s a old-school hoe, you got purpose.
Rahab was the hoe of Jericho!
And she was used to help save the 2 spies that Moses sent to scope out the land of Canaan for the Israelites. And because she allowed the Lord to use her, in her hoe status, she and her family were spared when the Israelites attacked Jericho.
The Good Book say, “Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?” (Isaiah 43:19)
Now watch this: That word “spring” is your commission to spring forth and hoe! Get to hoeing for the kingdom.
2 Corinthians 5:17 say, “Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
When you start to hoeing in the kingdom, it’s a different kind of work.
You hoeing and sowing.
A hoe is a tool with a long handle and a blade on it. That blade is used to loosen dirt and chop weeds, so when you’re ready to sow, you got some good soil to sow in.
When those weeds come up in life – unbelief, fear, doubt, self-sabotage, hate, low self-worth – you, as a kingdom hoe, get to killing those weeds by sowing faith, kindness, love, peace, joy!
You slangin the fruits of the spirit … hoeing and sowing!
You are a NEW hoe in Christ! |THIS ENT
