I felt led to share this.
I know some of you may be familiar with me, but you don’t know my story and I wanted to share how Jesus changed my life.
I grew up the youngest of 4, raised by the strongest and most beautiful woman in the world. I had a good childhood with lots of love and surrounded by family, but this one event opened up a door in my life that never got closed until recently.
Around age 5/6 I was sexually abused by a babysitter’s son on multiple occasions.
At the time I really didn’t know what to do, to the point I thought it was normal. This led to many years of being addicted to pornography, masturbation and struggling with homosexuality, suicidal thoughts, and so much more.
I didn’t know who I was and thought this was just something I was going to have to deal with the rest of my life. Even as a Christian I was dealing with those things because I felt it was taboo to talk about.
Jesus took all those struggles away. They are gone!
I just want to let you all know that there is freedom in Jesus, and he came to set the captives free. He set me free from all of that, and no matter what you are going through or what you are struggling with, there is freedom in Jesus.
And contrary to popular belief, he doesn’t hate you. He loves you and you are not alone.
