We have all experienced the life-altering affects of the pandemic. In THIS INTERVIEW you’ll learn its toll on club, mixtape, and radio legend, the 45 bandit DJ Cutt-Nice.

The star of “Feel The Hunger Mixshow” on ScratchVision Radio took time to answer our “2000 BC Q&A”, reflecting on his life before COVID-19 and how things have changed personally and professionally since.

Tell us what you miss most from life before COVID-19.

What I miss the most is being able to go anywhere in and out of the country. I also miss deejaying at a lot of events and venues.

Where were you when you learned about COVID-19 and how did you respond?

I was in my studio and my TV was on, and I saw it on the news. I wanted to find out what exactly it is and what you can do to prevent from getting it.

What, for you, have been the personal and professional benefits, and setbacks, from the pandemic?

The setbacks on a personal level was the fact that I wasn’t able to see my family and friends just any day because it wasn’t safe due to the virus circulating everywhere.

On a professional level was that I couldn’t have any events or DJ at any venue across the world and that was tough!

Do you have faith in the vaccine?

I’m in the neutral zone when it comes to having faith in it, but I will get the vaccine to lower the risk of me getting the virus. And along with that I will keep my immune system up by doing the same stuff I been doing before the pandemic hit the world.

Who do you talk to the most to keep your spirits up and help you stay optimistic?

I talk to God, my families and friends.

Has the pandemic caused you to value your life and the lives of others more than you did already?

I always valued my life from the start.

This pandemic is another virus that’s added to the list, and you must be careful on how you act towards it. I’ve lost friends and family to this and some of them were because they didn’t really believe in it or just in denial and didn’t think nothing could happen. But it did. And after knowing those people that died from it really made me more careful, and I value my life more and others that I know.

What about your immediate surroundings have you become more aware of?

I’m more aware of my surroundings all the time. I’m staying safe and not hanging out until this pandemic is under control. I’m still taking precautions even when it’s ok to get back out there without any stipulations.

What’s something that had to change because of the pandemic that you hope doesn’t change back once it’s over?

The people had to change by being more careful and healthy, and don’t take any virus lightly! I hope that we as a people won’t change that once it’s over. |THIS.
