Ultimate Warrior 3V3 Tekken Team Battle was an epic gaming event from PROVEN eSports Group and Grand Kai Gaming. One of its combatants is competitive gamer Cory The Clorox!

Following the Tekken 7 action Cory took up the challenge of answering our FT10 Questionnaire. We hope you enjoy THIS INTERVIEW!

How did you come up with your gamertag/gamer name? Share the origin story with us.

I decided to make it because I thought there was alliteration between my real name and Clorox! [Laughs]

What was your first experience with gaming and how did it impact you?

I remember playing Marvel vs Capcom 2 with my dad growing up. He is definitely the main influence, and he doesn’t play video games. I’m 200% sure he played it with me because of Spider-Man.

Name what you consider to be the 5 greatest games of all-time. Which of these 5 is your all-time favorite?

Dark-Souls, Dead Rising, Skyrim, Fallout: New Vegas, and Virtua Fighter 5.

My favorite is definitely Virtua Fighter 5.

Which console release were you so excited about that it made you lose sleep thinking about it?

The Xbox Series X. But as it has been scalped, I decided to just upgrade my PC.

Why do you think retro gaming has become such a popular subculture?

Those are the games that beat time and feel so good. No one is able to bitch because all the tech is ancient.

What Video Game has inspired you the most?

Tekken 7. I have spent the last 3 years trying to be the best!

Being a gamer sometimes comes with a negative perception. How do you think that perception can be changed?

Changing the perception should not be our focus. People that do not care about gaming will always look at the worst instead of the good things people do.

We should focus on not adding to the negative perception!

How has gaming built your confidence in other areas of our life?

It hasn’t outside of cooking someone in Tekken. I’m confident I can cause a problem for everyone in Tekken.

Is competitive gaming missing anything that you feel would drastically improve it?

Same day pay at events instead of it taking multiple weeks for players to get paid.

What do you see as the future of gaming?

Though it is getting more popular, I feel its future is fairly dim due to a majority of the FGC being slow to change. |THIS.
