Yesterday I was having breakfast at one of my favorite places, Skilletz Cafe in Niles Canyon. Unfortunately, my brand-new full-bodied coat ripped there.
The manager was a true delight as she quickly looked for ways to make it right. I was able to get a new coat and thought what will I do with this brand-new coat with a slight rip?
God told me to give it away to someone in need.
I will give my coat to someone lying on these cold streets, but I want to do more.
I’m asking [everyone] to make a donation so I can purchase as many Threadbare Apparel full-bodied coats on ASOS and for a team to help me distribute them to various homeless people throughout Oakland. This will surely keep them warm.
