The Fledge, Nation Outside, and Power in Passion presents Fledge Freedom Fest, taking place at The Fledge (1300 Eureka St, Lansing MI 48912) July 3- July 5, 2021.
The event reexamines what freedom in America looks like and what the community would like it to look like.
The team is holding their 1st annual Freedom Fest to create conversations, lift up local, and build community.
Fledge Freedom Fest has a variety of amazing performances, vendors, guest speakers, and activities on Saturday and Sunday. A Reentry Resource Fair and Community Conversation will close out the event on Monday.
Admission to the event is FREE and everyone is welcome! Come out and enjoy Fledge Freedom Fest with us! Both days include Pop up vendors, performances from many amazing local performers, interactive activities to create important conversations, delicious food, and fun for the kids too.
On Monday we will have a Reentry Resource Fair for those on probation and parole, and their families. The resource fair will include a variety of employment and housing resources as well as fun giveaways and activities for kids.
We will conclude the event with a Community Conversation to discuss and create action steps we can take together to create the change we want to see.
