We were pleasantly surprised to see Kevin Hart perform the cold open of WrestleMania 39, and somehow we weren’t surprised at all. The hilarious, top-draw stand-up comedian and box office hit-making actor was the perfect choice for WrestleMania Goes Hollywood in LA. Was Hart a predicted choice, though?
On an episode of Railing with Mr. Joe Walker, a podcast presented by The Wrestling Heroes and Insiders Podcast aka The WHIP Show, Walker discussed the idea of Hart becoming a mainstay in WWE. He expressed the idea of Hart being a manager or an enhancement, becoming someone in WWE that adds additional entertainment to WWE programming. Could this funny, entertaining cold open have been the beginning of such a relationship? We sure hope so!
