All Elite Wrestling has told a great story leading up to “Hangman” Adam Page challenging Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship. I’ve been invested in their long-term storytelling, and I fully expect Page vs Omega for the title to be a stellar main event and one of the best matches of 2021 at their Full Gear pay per view on November 13th.
I’d be lying, though, if I said I wasn’t anticipating Eddie Kingston vs CM Punk a little more.
After their heated, chilling in-ring argument on the Nov. 5 episode of AEW Rampage, I was convinced these veterans might just inflict career-ending brutality upon one another.
Punk is both an indie and mainstream pro wrestling icon. His reputation in the squared circle is all-time tremendous. Kingston, a vicious brawler with death match vibes, is an underground legend finally getting his due in front of a larger audience. And these two men have history, which they so disrespectfully explained on Rampage.
I’ve got Page taking the title from Omega and Kingston and Punk battering each other to a double 10-count finish. |By Mr. Joe Walker
