You didn’t have to be a Lakers fan to be a fan of Kobe Bryant.
He was one of those players that you never wanted to miss watching. The one you talked about with your coworkers the next day. Did you see what Kobe did last night?
If you were a fan of basketball, then you were a fan of basketball. It’s shocking to think that when I’m 70-years-old I won’t be watching some ESPN special with [Kobe] sitting there at 76-years-old laughing and smiling about the days when he played.
