What happens when you only have ONE choice? When you only have ONE option to solidify yourself as a champion, to prove you have what it takes to rise above the rest? The answer is fun, the thrill of victory and a nice cash prize!

Gaming tournament “Ultimate Warrior Tekken: One Button Beatdown” took place on Saturday August 29, 2020!

The stakes were risen in an exciting Tekken 7 PC tournament. The competitors were only allowed to use ONE button.

Famed Tekken pro LTrain rose to the challenge and walked away the winner!

“Ultimate Warrior Tekken: One Button Beatdown” streamed live on Twitch.tv/grandkaigaming with social media support from THISENT.com.

Hosted by Grand Kai, his pre-show discussion featured guest Larry Brazil of 1Life2Play, voice actress Thais Duraes who is the voice of Katarina Alves in Tekken 7, and award-winning nerdcore hip-hop artist Mark Cooper!

For the main show Kai, Dures, and Cooper welcomed Tekken community coach, mentor and multi-time champion iHAI; the four stand-outs served as the night’s commentary team! The fast-moving action and play-by-play remained entertaining throughout the show.

The commentators and competitors took a match or two to be fully acclimated the “One Button” style of play. Once it got rolling, the strategy was intriguing, some of the very well executed combos were surprising, and the matches became more and more tense and suspenseful.

Yet, the atmosphere was so loose, nail-biting came second to laughter. The live comments from the panel, real-time impressions in the chat, and pre-match and post-match dialogue from the “Beatdown” players was lighthearted and amusing. This behavior complimented the video game violence perfectly.

Players Majin Joseph, Hojo, Lemon, Zedrow, JetcrowX3, and LTrain came to win, though.

Zedrow’s match two victory against the favored Lemon bought him a pass to the Finals. He waited patiently as LTrain battered opponents with Negan in route to their main event duel.

LTrain, using one button as directed, even hilariously toppled an opponent who did not follow the one button rule.

It must be noted that arguably the best matchup of the night was Majin Joseph and Lemon going toe-to-toe to the bitter end for 3rd place.

The final match saw LTrain defeat Zedrow in dominant fashion to be crowned the nights “Ultimate Warrior”. It was an excellent event! |THIS.
