Disney+ series The Book of Boba Fett raised its tension considerably during a surprising scene in Episode 2.
Since his welcomed return to the Star Wars universe, Fett has claimed the throne of late crime lord Jabba The Hutt. It’s a course of action that didn’t sit well with Hutt’s cousins The Twins.
The Hutt brother and sister confronted Fett, but he showed the hulking slug-like creatures that he had no intentions of backing down or relinquish Jabba’s thrown. The Twins upped the steaks when they revealed they were backed by a surprising and dangerous ally, the murderous Wookie Black Krrsantan.
Having disgraced his Wookie kind, Krrsantan left his home world Kashyyyk to become feared gladiator and bounty hunter. The towering creature is an intimidating site. His tense stare down with Fett immediately made him a character of high interest.
The creation of Kieron Gillen and Salvador Larroca, the Black-furred fighter debuted in Marvel comics’ Darth Vader series in 2015. By order of Darth Sidious, Vader hired Krrsantan to locate a wanted agent of the Empire.
An employee of Jabba, Krrsantan was considered one of the crime lord’s two best bounty hunters, with Fett being the other. Noted for his aggressive combat style and ferocious abilities, the Wookie’s terrorizing reputation was well known throughout the Outer Rim. He even tangled with Vader’s nemesis and former master Obi-Wan Kenobi; a tussle that left his face scarred.
As The Book of Boba Fett continues to reveal its chapters, it’s exciting to anticipate where and how Black Krrsantan will show up next. |THIS.
