Los Angeles singer/songwriter and musician Taylor Taylor is an incredibly gifted, sincere and creative artist. She’s also an excellent live performer.
As her star continues to rise, it’s a good idea to catch her shows before tickets are a fafaillion dollars and sold out in 3 minutes. It’s going to happen. Trust us.
We had the blessing of seeing Taylor Taylor for $Free.99 when she returned to her native Mid-Michigan, headlining East Lansing Summer Concert Series at Ann Street Plaza on July 14, 2023.
Backed by The Trilogy Bad, her set included new songs “I Don’t Have What You Need”, “When Robots Rule the World”, and another that really stood out to us.
To our pleasant surprise, she and Trilogy performed a mash-up of “It’s Too Late” by Carol King and “Leave (Get Out)” by JoJo that had us like, “WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT??!!!”
